Over the years we have been involved in many events including the Southern Ocean Lodge Food Safari, Kangaroo Island Feastival and Tasting Australia events. We love telling our story and watching people enjoy learning more about our product!
Daily land-based farm tours commenced in October 2019 for visitors to learn more about oysters, oyster farming in South Australia, American River bird-life, maritime history and how to shuck an oyster. This tour runs during the Pacific Oyster season between April and February each year.

Oysters are great for the environment and are being used around the world to clean water ways that have been polluted by development - not for human consumption of course!

Our oyster leases have fantastic sea grasses growing and if we were to remove the infrastructure in the water, you would hardly know our farm was there!

All bottles and cans are recycled and the money is donated to Kangaroo Island and Victor harbor Dolphin Watch (KIVH) to help with their world leading dolphin research.

Reusable Hot/Cold thermal bags are sold to reduce the use of single use plastic, 50c from sale of each bag is donated to KIVH Dolphin Watch.

Waste from The Oyster Farm Shop is sorted so that we reduce landfill generated by our business.

We audit our waste and source compostable and recyclable packaging wherever possible.
